Waiting, we learned is just part of the process. At times, the wait was hard to
bear, at other times we kept busy enough that it was buried beneath mountains of
paperwork or left behind as we prepared Emma's new room.
As bad as it was from time to time, the anguish and the longing was gone in a heartbeat as we were handed Emmma for the first time in Nanchang. |
