Since we had our Home Study from our adoption of Emma and because we again chose Lutheran Ministries and
the same social worker, all we had to do were a couple of short interviews to get our information updated. No new
autobiographies, interview visits, etc. It was painless - in fact, we enjoyed the visits we had with our social
worker. Up to that point, we had been pretty active in LMG's adoption program - going to dinners, picnics,
occassionally participating in orientation meetings they were holding for prospective adoptive parents, etc.
Consequently, the home study update gave us more opportunity to keep up with our friends at LMG. Because of this
relaxed atmosphere, we sort of took our time and didn't really rush through the process - fingerprinting, police reports,
etc - but now, as we look back, so what? Here we are with Camilla, she's happy, we're happy - who could ask for more?
